Washakie and Grave Lakes

Tuesday: Today we hike to Washakie lake (10,363 ft), two miles southwest of camp. Then follow the Bears Ears trail north to Grave Lake (9,964 ft).

Pass Lake (10,627 ft) sits below Mount Washakie and Washakie Glacier.

Grave Lake (9,964 ft) is one of the largest lakes in the area. Shown here is only about one third as the lake wraps around the slope on the left side .
